Wyntr in the Summertime

Can you smell it?

Burgers on the BBQ, fresh cut grass, flowers sprouting in the garden. It can only mean one thing. Wyntr is about to spring into summertime. We’re spit-shining the ol’ shenanigans machine and getting ready to head out of WyntrHQ and onto a stage near you.

It feels like we’ve locked ourselves away – because we more or less did, to write new material and rehearse a new setlist – but we felt the warm sunshine through the basement window and it was irresistible. 

We officially kick off summer 2024 on June 6th with the release of our new single ‘The Shape I’m In’ on all the streaming platforms. We recorded it in March at Hillside Audio with our main man Cameron Dunn and we’re absolutely THRILLED with the results! We think you will be too. 

Two days later on June 8th, we hit the stage at The Brass Monkey with our buddies in Evil Creek and Ginny and the Re-Arrangers. 

On July 19th we’re at Dominion Tavern as part of PandaFest III along a veritable who’s who of the Ottawa independent music community including As We Suffer, Feed After Midnite, Hyena, Laughing in Slow Motion, Ultimis and more! Huge thanks to Brad Lake and Pandamonium Promotions for inviting us again this year.

Then on August 9th we trek out to Westmeath, Ontario to play at White Water Rocks Summerdaze 2024. Come on out, bring your camping gear and spend a weekend rocking out with 16 bands over 2 days including Evil Creek, Black Water Brigade, Beyond Driven and many more!

Finally we close out the summer festivities at Cafe Dekcuf on September 6th when we join our brothers Vinyl Hero from Montreal – and they’re bringing Steve Creep and the Wildcards with them!
